Albany Woodworks on Preserving our Past, 1978

In 1978, Richard and Judith Woods, future founders of Albany Woodworks, reclaim lumber from an 1800's era barn being demolished in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

This was the first of many turn-of-the-century and older buildings being demolished to be salvaged by Albany Woodworks and utilized for well seasoned virgin growth lumber.
